SpellBound

SpellBound is a roguelite adventure inspired by Balatro and Slay the Spire, with core gameplay based on Scrabble. You take on the role of a small furry woodland creature traversing the wilderness, armed with only your wide-brimmed witch's hat and your skill at logomancy. Reach the Points target at each stage of your journey to continue, but beware - everything you do requires Loquatiousness, which doesn't reset. When you run out, you expire, no longer able to form words - in tiles nor speech.

This is an early prototype. Plans for the full game include multiple ways to improve (or mess up) your collection of tiles, enemies at each stage that interfere with your Point-scoring in various ways, new actions you can learn and record in a spellbook... the possibilities are endless.
